Heart Behind Baby Haven

Not only is Sydnee your dedicated sonographer, she is also the founder and heart of Baby Haven KC, creating a unique, personal, and unforgettable visit for every family. She brings support and intention to every interaction, from the first phone call to the final moments of a sonography session.

Sydnee earned her education at the University of Nebraska and continued her medical imaging studies at the Nebraska Medical Center, where she completed her third degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, establishing a solid clinical foundation. Over nearly a decade in radiology and high-risk obstetrics, she gained experience at more than twenty medical facilities nationwide. During that time, she recognized a major disconnect in prenatal imaging, parents needed more time, reassurance, and to recognize that sonography is an amazing tool when performed correctly.

In July 2023, Sydnee took the leap to create Baby Haven KC, a luxury imaging space designed to make families feel seen, supported, and celebrated. Since opening, she has met more than 3,000 babies and their families. In May 2025, Baby Haven KC expanded to a larger imaging center in West Shawnee to serve more families across Kansas City and Lawrence. Her dedication has been recognized with nominations for Best of Overland Park 2024 and voted Best of Kansas City 2025 at The Pitch KC in the Health Clinic category.

Outside the office, Sydnee enjoys road trips with her fiancé and their two golden retrievers and mini Aussie, fishing at Perry Lake, painting the artwork that decorates the space, and spending time with the little ones who affectionately call her “Aunt Syneeee.”
