Meet the Founder

Sydnee is the founder and lead sonographer of Baby Haven KC, bringing nearly a decade of diverse clinical experience in prenatal imaging and high-risk obstetrics. Her career includes extensive hands-on work in hospitals, outpatient clinics, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine settings nationwide, where she developed a deep understanding of the true meaning of sonography and the direct impact the profession can have on patients and providers alike.

After years of traveling to fill critical radiology and sonography roles, teaching upcoming Sonographers, and writing hospital imaging protocols to ensure continuity of care where it was needed, Sydnee established roots in Kansas City and founded Baby Haven KC in 2023 with a vision of creating a healthier work environment and a space where both families and Sonographers are given time, clarity, and genuine connection, fostering positive and meaningful experiences.

As an owner-operator, Sydnee has developed every aspect of Baby Haven KC herself, from designing the Shawnee location and website to building the brand, socials, and marketing materials, ensuring that every detail reflects her commitment to excellence, patient education, and compassionate care. She designed the imaging center to be both welcoming and accessible while upholding the highest standards of diagnostic excellence. Sydnee is passionate about elevating the field of radiology by demonstrating how meaningful, high-quality prenatal imaging can transform the experience for families. She is equally dedicated to creating an environment where professionals can thrive and cultivate a lifelong commitment to patient-centered care.
