What is Baby Haven?

Baby Haven KC is an independently owned prenatal imaging and lab collection center in West Shawnee, Kansas. Founded in 2023, it offers elective ultrasounds, provider-ordered diagnostic imaging, and select prenatal lab services for families and referring healthcare providers.

Meet Your Sonographer

Sydnee Clark, B.S., RDMS, brings more than a decade of medical imaging experience to Baby Haven, with a background spanning high-risk obstetrics, Maternal-Fetal Medicine, emergency care, and outpatient imaging.

Her approach reflects the knowledge gained through years of clinical work, where timing, preparation, image quality, and sound judgment all matter to patient care.

“I built Baby Haven after years in healthcare seeing how much a sonographer’s skill, experience, and empathy can shape a mother’s pregnancy experience. I wanted to create a place where clinical expertise and personal care go hand in hand, without the disconnect, rushed appointments, or unnecessary repeat scans I saw throughout my career. I may work independently for now, but I hold myself to a high standard in every scan and every image. I’m proud to have built a business that brings together my medical training, creativity, and love for new life.”

From the large viewing screen to whatever size and quantity of ultrasound prints, Baby Haven is designed to make prenatal imaging feel personal while giving parents what they pay for while breaking down barriers that have been set for decades. Appointments allow parents and loved ones to settle in, enjoy the view, watch their baby’s personality come to life, and collect memories of their growing baby.

Every pregnancy and every scan is different. Baby Haven emphasizes clear expectations about what can be seen at each stage online and in office, with careful imaging and honest communication throughout the visit, and a detailed FAQs page.

Growing With Our City

Baby Haven began in a 200-square-foot suite in Overland Park and has grown into a dedicated outpatient imaging center, built on returning families, community referrals, and trusted relationships with local healthcare providers.

Its mission continues to challenge the status quo by making skilled prenatal imaging more accessible, reliable, and transparent for Kansas City moms, rethinking long-standing barriers to information and care during pregnancy.
