Who We Are
Baby Haven KC is a local, woman-led prenatal imaging and lab collection center serving Kansas City and the surrounding communities. What started as a small elective ultrasound room in Overland Park has grown through persistence, word of mouth, and a deep commitment to the work into a local center serving both low and high-risk pregnancies. Three years in, services are still performed by the owner herself, continuing the hands-on care and high standards that earned Best of KC.
What We Do
Baby Haven offers self pay provider-ordered diagnostic ultrasounds, elective prenatal imaging, and lab collection services. Our approach is shaped by years of sonography experience, working alongside providers, and collaborating with interpreting physicians. We care about the details of every exam, the quality of the imaging, and the way information is communicated to the people who trust us with their care.
Why We Do It
That’s easy! Better imaging, better communication, more consistency, and great care for the parents sitting on the other side of the screen. What started in 200 square feet has grown because Kansas City parents and providers have continued to choose us, refer their patients, and support our humanness. We’re proud of what Baby Haven KC has become, but even more proud of how we make people feel long after they leave.

Behind Baby Haven is nearly a decade of real healthcare experience, with a background in general, vascular, and high-risk obstetrics and Maternal Fetal Medicine. Sydnee has worked across hospitals, emergency rooms, outpatient clinics, and specialty settings, learning not only the clinical side of imaging but what it takes to run a great office behind the scenes. In 2023, she brought all of that experience together to build the center she wanted to work in and the kind of care she wanted patients to receive.
Today, Sydnee remains closely involved in every part of Baby Haven and continues to perform services. From clinical excellence to the creative details, every part of this company is intentional, with one goal to take care of the people that choose us and make prenatal imaging a little better than the typical visit for them.
Community Support
Kansas City families and local providers continue to show up for us. Since 2023, they have shared our name, sent referrals, trusted us with the care and imaging of thousands of babies and moms, and returned as their families grow.
What started in 200 square feet has grown into a trusted part of the community. Moms who first found us for an elective ultrasound now return for another pregnancy, sometimes through their provider for diagnostic imaging. That continued support means everything to a local business, and we’re grateful for every family and provider who continues to choose Baby Haven.
