Baby Haven KC was born from one woman’s bold mission: to reimagine the prenatal imaging experience by putting families, connection, and care at the heart of every scan. In just two years, what began as a tiny, one-room elective ultrasound studio in Overland Park has grown into a spacious, full-spectrum prenatal imaging center in West Shawnee—now offering diagnostic and elective keepsake ultrasounds, early gender determination, and fetal DNA testing.
Built from the ground up with intention, Baby Haven was designed to be a true alternative to the rushed, impersonal nature of corporate healthcare settings. Every detail—from the calming atmosphere to the individualized approach—was created to ensure that each family feels supported, heard, and truly seen.

Meet Sydnee!
Founder & CEO of Baby Haven
Sydnee is a 30-something healthcare professional with nearly a decade of experience in radiology and a specialty in high-risk obstetrics. Rapid advancements in her career took her across the country —working in over 20 facilities and mentoring future sonographers—where she witnessed firsthand how disconnected and profit-focused corporate healthcare had become. The impact on patients, providers, and her own well-being led her to a bold decision: to build something different.
With no business, social media, or accelerated education, but a clear vision and unwavering purpose, Sydnee took a leap of faith and launched Baby Haven in 2023. What started as a single room and a strong belief in better care has grown into one of the region’s most trusted prenatal imaging centers.
Today, Sydnee continues to see every client herself for now, with full intentions to expand and hire in the near future, combining her medical expertise with a delicate artistic touch to ensure every scan is clinically precise, beautifully captured, and deeply personal. Whether it’s a diagnostic fetal anatomy scan, an anxious heartbeat check, or a joyful 3D keepsake session, Sydnee approaches each moment with empathy, excellence, and heart the way it should be.
Outside of the office, Sydnee enjoys painting, fishing, spending time with her nieces and nephews, and road-tripping with her fiancé Andrew and their three dogs. She considers it a true honor to walk alongside Kansas City families and to help create lifelong memories from the very beginning.
