What began as a small boutique ultrasound studio in Overland Park in July 2023 has quickly become one of the Midwest’s most trusted destinations for expectant families. Founded by Sydnee, a decorated sonographer with a passion for meaningful prenatal care, Baby Haven KC was built to offer a warm, high-end, and welcoming space where parents can connect with their growing baby through early, high-quality imaging—at an affordable self-pay price.
Initially focused on early gender reveals and elective 3D/4D ultrasounds, Baby Haven quickly gained recognition for its accuracy, compassion, and personalized care. As demand grew, so did its services—now proudly offering both elective and diagnostic prenatal options, including SneakPeek Clinical tests (as early as 6 weeks) and Fetal Anatomy Scans, serving families and providers across the region.
Sydnee blends her medical expertise, artistic eye, and love for tiny humans to create an experience that’s as emotionally meaningful as it is clinically sound. Her studio, adorned with her original artwork, welcomes every family—including Kansas City pro athletes—into a private, joyful space where tears, hugs, and heartwarming moments are all part of the journey.
After overcoming a flood just before the studio’s first anniversary, Sydnee relocated Baby Haven to a vibrant new front suite in Aculas. Then, on May 7, 2025, she proudly opened Baby Haven’s first storefront location at Shawnee Crossings, officially closing the original Overland Park suite (for now!).

With over a decade of experience in diagnostic medical sonography and a specialized background in high-risk obstetrics, Sydnee brings unmatched expertise and a personal touch to every ultrasound session. Her medical knowledge, paired with an artistic eye, ensures each scan is not only precise but beautifully captured.
After working at more than 20 facilities across the country, and teaching students, she put down roots in Lenexa, KS, where she combined her love for sonography with a passion for entrepreneurship. She founded Baby Haven to offer new parents a high quality, stress-free, personalized imaging experience—one that’s as memorable as it is meaningful.
Outside the office, she enjoys fishing at Perry Lake, painting, and traveling with her fiancé Andrew, their two golden retrievers, and their mini Aussie, Eddie. She’s honored to be part of your prenatal journey and looks forward to helping you create truly enjoyable memories from the very beginning!
